Matt Anstead
Managing Director
Matt joined Cairngorm Capital in 2022 as Managing Director based in our Edinburgh office. His role carries particular emphasis on investments consistent with transition to net zero.
Matt brings broad experience to Cairngorm Capital having spent over two decades in the energy industry, including 13 years of growth capital investing in the UK, Europe, USA, and Canada. He was previously a Senior Partner with EV Private Equity. Earlier in his career Matt worked at Simmons & Co; Booz. Allen; and Wood Mackenzie.
Outside the office Matt is a keen skier and cyclist.
